Oct. 18th, 2011 10:13 pmName: Damian Al'Ghul Wayne
Notable Aliases: Damian Razem, Robin,
Nicknames: Day, Little D, Dami
Age: 16-17
Universe: DC Comics (with a side order of The 99)
Parents: Bruce Wayne & Talia Al'Ghul
Favorite Foods: Mango Lassi, Baklava, Strawberries
Important Notes:
+ Damian breaks from canon after Batman #713 (before Flashpoint, basically). He's completely cut off contact with his biological mother, Talia Al'Ghul, instead seeing Selena Kyle as more of a motherly figure. When dating Milagro Reyes, he comes to admire Bianca Reyes and her advice more than he'd ever admire Talia's.
+ Currently a member of the Batfamily alongside Batman, Nightwing, Batwoman, Batgirl, Abuse, and a few others.
+ Officially Young Justice's leader... unofficially? Milagro's pretty much half-leader. They spend half their time arguing instead of getting any work accomplished. (Superboy and Impulse have been known to finish entire missions while Robin and Green Lantern are at it again.)
+ Damian secretly enjoys fighting with Milagro, though he'll never admit it to her face. (He has, however, admitted that he enjoys getting a rise out of Lian Harper.)
+ He's mellowed out slightly since his childhood. Day's nowhere near as hostile towards the world, and he's begun to see the world - and human relationships - as something normal. He knows how to make friends... and shockingly, keep them. Granted, he doesn't see anything wrong with blunt honesty, so he's tended to lose friends in that department too.
+ Never lost sight of where he came from---in terms of his Arab heritage. Damian still speaks fluent Arabic and makes bi-annual trips to the Middle East to soak in the culture. That, and the 99 won't let him completely disappear in the shadows; their leader's somehow gotten in Ra's good graces. He's not Muslim by any stretch of the imagination, but he's knowledgeable enough to pass as one (and usually pretends to be one when he's undercover).
+ Damian thinks religion is overrated and kinda dumb. Then again, he's only been exposed to Catholicism and Shi'a Islam (he knows some of the differences between Shi'a and Sunni but not much!); spiritually, he's... well, he's pretty dead inside too. He believes in some higher power theoretically, but that higher power's doing a terrible job of looking after people. (Realistically, he'd probably be some kind of modern Deist.)
